40k - Tyrant's Legion: Corpsetaker unit
Picked up the Forgeworld apothecary set, one of which I will be using for a Corpsetaker. It is a great set and well worth the price. For servitors I found some old tech guard models that I am thinking as using for servitors. Just need to find some bits to represent chainswords or actual chainswords. I really do not see the servitors as being over the top creations with crazy chaosy addons. They are basically there to help the Corpsetaker collect material in the field and process it in the lab.

40k - Tyrant's Legion: Demi-Legion update
The legion is coming together.
Looking at adding a Leman Russ in grey color scheme to act as command tank for the others .
With the new flyer rules the legion needs a Vulture badly, plus its a great add on.
Played a 1000 point game the other day and the "Tyrant's Due" rule (+1 cover save) saved a few of the valiant marines.

Was thinking of including a Corpe Taker, but have to look into to making at least four servitors. Maybe some kind of cadian/scout hybrid.

40k - Tyrants Legion: On the work bench
Getting ready to paint last squad of auxilia troops (10 + AC) and a brute for maruader squad.
Finally finished the Hellhound, its magnetized so I can swap out the turret and hull weapons. Extra weapons are stored in the Chimera.
Just need to touch up two old Leman Russ and build a new one too complete the squadron.

40K: Tyrant's Legion
Finished second cohort and attached Rhino. Still have a few random space marines laying around, may add them in later to the two squads.
Did alot of touch ups on the marauder squad, they were pretty banged up, just need to save up some cash for brute. They size up pretty good with the Cadian models.

40k - Tyrant's Legion: Finally moving again
Finally picked up some dullcote, and finished a few things.
Completed a group of marines and a couple of centurions. They still need some work, but they are good enough for table top. Just happy I got the shoulder pads completed.
Also completed an auxilia cadre squad and chimera (magnetized the bow armament so it can be swapped between heavy bolter and flamer).
Going to use these guys as marauders, found a bunch of them in a box. Just need to find a couple of models for brutes (orc, minotaur, animal?).

40k - Tyrant's Legion: Planning
This is what I am planning so far, or at least have the spare parts for (except the Leman Russ).
Also does anyone know why my camera is taking pictures like this? The only difference is the angle the picture is taken at.
The sepia tone is growing on me though.

40k - Tyrant's Legion: auxilia command
Finished the auxilia command squad for Tyrant's Legion, they are in the same color of blue that I am going to use for the marines. Since the command squad and auxilia cadre are the only non-marine units with a ballistic skill of 3 or more, they will have a autocannnon team in each to provide support for the marines.

40k - Magnetized Predator
Finally got around to starting he Predator.
Magnets are great; I am going to get Predator, Rhino, and a Razorback (with 2xHB from the Landraider).

Think I am going to have to add some support to the turret magnet.

40k - Fire Angels: Rebasing
Finally got the 40mm bases for the Terminators.
Went through some boxes and have enough for around 18 marines, 3 heavy weapons, and maybe a Rhino ( ebay rescue). There is also a Cadian batteforce box minus the Sentinel. So I would have to pick up a few more Cadians and a couple of Leman Russes to give them some punch.
Just a thought, right now.
Rebased ten of the Terminators, a stand in for Invictus (used to love the linked plasma), and a librarian to round out the group.
The Combi-melta is for the scout biker sergeant, thanks Tristan.
After the Terminators are completed, I need to finish the last tactical squad.

40K - Fire Angels: HQ unit
I really do not see these guys with a wantabe deathstar HQ unit. So the squad is not maxed out; there is a company champion, medic, plasma gun, and two marines armed with bolters. One of the captains is pretty standard with a powerfist and stormbolter, while the other captain is my stand in for Tarnus Vale.
Like the rest of my stuff the painting is not great, but good enough for table play.

Finally got the terminators cleaned up, just waiting for the 40mm bases. There is going to be a full squad of ten - Sergeant, two assualt cannons, two stormbolter/chainfist, and five stormbolter/powerfist. Hopefully they will work alright with the scout homers and locators.
Ya, there a point sink.

40k - Fire Angels: Three down one to go
Pretty much finished three of the four dreds, they just need some touch ups. I only have the Ironclad dred left to put together. Not sure if I am going to go with the Las/DCCW or the Las/ML, just glad that the arms can be switched out unlike the other two dreds.
Looking at starting an Honor Guard unit with some models I found in the bin.
Yes they are the traditional white, I am still not really happy with the way they look.

40k - Fire Angels: Update
This is how far I got so far with the Fire Angels company
All my future Dreadnought will have the look, still working on a Ironclad and a multimelta one.
A few ancient libarians
Overall I have almost completed the Whirlwind and will start on the command squad. Still stripping about four layers of paint off the terminators, they are the old style so they will match the Libarians and character models I have.

40k - Fire Angels: Moving along
Finally got off my butt and completed the Thunderfire Cannon.
Also did some work on the scouts looks like black cape, red armor, and white cloth. I will post some images next time.
Got around to picking up a few scout bikes, but they will have to wait till I finish the other dreadnought.

40k - Fire Angels: Where I am now
Finally got everything together and completed some painting; have to post some photos later. The terminators are still in the dip tank and I recently picked up a few scout bikers. This is how the Fire Angels company looks so far.

40k - Fire Angels: Time for a repaint
Finally finished unpacking after the move and looked at my collection of Fire Angels. They were looking pretty sad, most of them that I painted white overall were a nice color beige or tinted yellow (they are prety old). So I decided to strip most of them down and repaint them.
Painting them white overall is just to much to work and I can never get the effect I like, its almost as bad as yellow. Anyways I have completed a few already and added some new models; I am going to have two patterns white/red and black with mustard flames.
